A report published by PiunikaWeb on October 14, 2025, described players saying Minecraft stopped at the Mojang loading screen and returned them to the Xbox home screen after updating to 1.21.113. Some users described the game as loading the Mojang screen before booting them back to the home screen; others said it crashed there without displaying an error message. The same report recounted claims that restarting or reinstalling the game did not help some players. It also described some digital-copy owners saying disc copies worked. Those accounts are anecdotal: they do not establish how widespread the problem was, what caused it, or whether using a disc is a dependable workaround.
What Mojang’s 1.21.113 notes say
Mojang posted Bedrock version 1.21.113 on October 9, 2025, describing it as a hotfix for issues discovered in 1.21.111. Its notes list two crash-related fixes: a potential crash when a script Actor query ran during world load, and a crash involving a formatted string longer than the multiplied string. Is the reported crash confirmed fixed?
The reviewed sources do not establish an incident-specific official resolution. Mojang’s later notes describe other crashes and fixes, but do not connect them to the 1.21.113 Xbox loading-screen reports:
- Version 1.21.132 lists an Xbox split-screen account or player-data fix. Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.132 changelog

Because those notes describe different issues and do not identify the 1.21.113 launch-screen crash, they are not evidence that this particular incident was resolved. PiunikaWeb reported that Mojang had not publicly addressed the problem at the time of its October 14, 2025 article; that time-limited statement does not establish whether a later response was made.

How to report the problem
If the crash is still happening, use Mojang’s official bug tracker to look for a matching report before creating a new one. The tracker is for bug reports, not player support, and asks reporters to provide enough information to understand or reproduce the issue. Mojang bug tracker

- If no matching issue exists, submit one report with a concise description and reproducible details.
- Include the Xbox model, the exact Minecraft version shown on your console, where the loading process stops, any error text, and the steps that reliably lead to the crash.
Neither the available player accounts nor the official notes establish a reliable fix, root cause, or count of affected players. Avoid treating an anecdotal workaround—or a later fix for a separately described crash—as confirmation that this launch issue has been solved.
