Check Reply-to and forwarding-related routing
Review the account’s Reply-to setting. If it points to another address, replies may go there instead of to the Yahoo Inbox. Confirm that the address is the one you actually monitor.
Search Spam and other folders
Open Spam and search by the sender’s address, subject, or a distinctive phrase. Also check Trash and any custom folders. Yahoo’s incoming-mail guidance specifically recommends checking information in failed-delivery messages when an expected email does not arrive.

Can a full Yahoo mailbox stop incoming mail?

- Delete messages with large attachments and old sent mail.
- Search for repeated newsletters or automated notifications and remove batches you no longer need.
- Recheck the storage indicator after deletion; space may not update instantly.

Why does Yahoo Mail send on the web but not in my app?

When should you suspect a device-only problem?
Webmail success combined with failure on one phone or computer points to that device, its app, its network, or its stored credentials. If every client and webmail fail in the same way, stop treating it as a phone sync issue and return to account, storage, security, or delivery checks.

How do I fix Yahoo IMAP, POP, or SMTP authentication errors?
