There is not enough recent tournament evidence here to name a single best Warrior deck in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. Infernoble Knight and Gouki are two useful Warrior-centered options to compare, but Konami’s available recipes do not prove either is a current tournament leader: its Infernoble Knight recipe is labeled “Concept,” and its Gouki recipe is labeled “Tournament” without a verified event date or placement. Choose by format, current legality and the kind of deck you want—not by treating a database label as a ranking.
Which Warrior deck is best right now?
“Best” depends on what you mean: strongest recent results, a Warrior-focused theme, or a deck to build and play for fun. For competitive strength, the evidence available does not establish that either Infernoble Knight or Gouki is currently among the leading TCG decks. Yu-Gi-Oh! Meta’s third-party TCG snapshot, accessed in 2026 and covering the “Last 1 month,” reports 11,991 players. Its three largest listed archetypes are Elfnote (83 entries; 15.29%), Dark Magician Chaos Ritual (66; 12.15%) and Kewl Tune (61; 11.23%). Neither Infernoble Knight nor Gouki appears among the leading archetypes displayed. That does not prove either had no event placements, and the snapshot supplies no verified Warrior-specific win rate or conversion figure. See Yu-Gi-Oh! Meta’s TCG tier snapshot.
For a Warrior-centered shortlist rather than a competitive ranking, Infernoble Knight and Gouki both have official Konami Neuron recipe records. Their labels and list contents can help you explore each theme, but they are not equivalent evidence of recent results.
Infernoble Knight: an official concept-list reference
Konami’s Neuron database shows a 40-card Main Deck recipe labeled “Concept.” The displayed monsters include Infernoble Knight – Renaud, Ogier, Oliver, Maugis, Turpin and Ricciardetto, alongside Fighting Flame Swordsman and other FIRE Warrior cards. Use the recipe as a reference for card names and a possible theme direction, not as a current tournament-proven list. View the Infernoble Knight recipe in Konami’s Neuron database.

Gouki: an official recipe tagged “Tournament”
Konami’s Neuron database lists a 46-card Main Deck Gouki recipe with the tag “Tournament.” Its displayed monsters include Gouki Suprex, Machine Suprex, Twistcobra, Headbatt and Iron Claw. The tag alone does not say when or where the list competed or how it placed, so it is not enough to call the recipe recent, successful or representative of today’s strongest Gouki build. View the Gouki recipe in Konami’s Neuron database.
How to choose between them
Start with your goal, then check evidence that actually answers it. A recipe can show you which cards a list uses; it cannot establish current tournament strength by itself.
- If you want tournament performance: Compare recent event lists and placements from the same format and date window. The available snapshot does not provide a verified head-to-head comparison or Warrior-specific conversion statistic.
- If you want a themed Warrior deck: Use the official recipes to identify cards and starting points, then decide which theme appeals to you. The records do not establish matchup strength, combo reliability or resilience.
- If you are deciding what to buy: Verify current card availability, prices, prints and local legality before purchasing. No current price or stock comparison is established here.
- If you are playing an event: Check that event’s rules and the applicable format. Do not assume rules from a particular championship automatically apply to locals or regional events.
Check TCG legality before using or buying a list
This comparison concerns the physical Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Advanced Format; TCG, OCG, Master Duel, Genesys and historical formats can have different card pools, restrictions and results. Konami’s European TCG Forbidden & Limited List page says the displayed list took effect May 18, 2026. On that list, Forbidden cards cannot be used in the Main, Extra or Side Deck; Limited cards are restricted to one copy across those decks combined, and Semi-Limited cards to two. Because the list can change, check Konami’s live page before building or entering an event. Check Konami’s European TCG Forbidden & Limited List.
Event policies are also specific to the event. Konami’s 2026 World Championship page says that event ran August 28–30, 2026, in Ariake, Japan, with seven Swiss rounds followed by a Top 8 cut for the TCG; entrants had to use their registered deck lists. Those details describe the World Championship, not a universal rule for local or regional play. Read Konami’s 2026 World Championship information and its event policy information.
