Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta launched in the West on April 28, 2026, for Nintendo Switch. The game follows Adol Christin as he explores Celceta’s Great Forest, and its updated release lets players choose between the returning soundtrack and newly recorded arrangements.
When did Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta come out in the West?
The Western release date was April 28, 2026. Nihon Falcom announced the English version for North America and Europe in 2026; Nintendo’s Canadian store listing specifies April 28, 2026 for the Switch release.
What platforms is it on?
The Western version is a Nintendo Switch game. Nintendo Canada lists it as supported on Nintendo Switch 2, with behavior consistent with the Switch version; that does not indicate a separate native Switch 2 edition. The Canadian listing gives a 5.5 GB download size and lists TV, tabletop and handheld play modes. These are details from that regional storefront listing.
What is the story about?
Adol wakes in Celceta with little memory beyond his own name. He teams up with Duren, a thief, and takes on a mission from a Romun Army general to document the dangerous Great Forest. As they explore, Adol searches for clues to his identity and encounters people who appear to know him, leaving him to decide whom to trust.

Marvelous describes the adventure as taking place immediately after Ys X and as laying groundwork for systems seen in Ys VIII and later games. That is the publisher’s framing of the game’s series context, rather than a claim about a complete, independently established chronology.
How does exploration and combat work?
The game is a party-based action RPG. Characters fight together, and the tactics available shift as they gain abilities during battle. Exploring and mapping the Great Forest is central to progress: the map helps chart an unfamiliar wilderness, while party members’ distinct actions open different routes and interactions.

What is new in this Memoire release?
The clearest documented update is its music option. Players can select the returning score or a newly recorded, reinterpreted soundtrack. Falcom says a newly arranged option was added for all in-game background music, so the choice applies across the game rather than only to a selection of tracks.
What editions are available?
The official materials document physical and digital formats, as well as a North American Day One Edition. They do not establish current retailer inventory or prices, which can change by region and seller.
