HoYoverse’s official Version 1.6 recap lists its expiry as March 1, 2025 at 23:59:59 (UTC+8). As of October 8, 2026, the code cannot be presented as an active reward. This guide explains what the code was, how redemption works for future codes, and why a code may be rejected.
Status of the Version 1.6 livestream code
SOLDIER0ANBY was distributed during the Version 1.6 livestream. HoYoverse’s official Version 1.6 Intel Report, published on the official news page, gives the expiry time as March 1, 2025 at 23:59:59 (UTC+8). Any attempt to redeem it now will fail because the window has closed.
If you see the code on a third-party site, a forum post or a video description dated after that deadline, treat it as stale. Codes that are still valid are announced through HoYoverse’s official channels, which are listed below.
Version 1.6 livestream details
HoYoverse announced the Version 1.6 Special Program, titled “Among the Forgotten Ruins,” for February 28, 2025 at 19:30 (UTC+8). The program aired on official livestream channels and was billed as a preview of Version 1.6 that would include a redemption code. The official announcement is the primary record of the event time and channels.

How to redeem a code in Zenless Zone Zero
HoYoverse’s Help Center describes a prerequisite before any code can be used. Your account must first complete the Prologue mission “Business x Strangeness x Justness.” Until that mission is done, the redemption option will not accept codes.
Once the prerequisite is met, there are two official routes:

| Route | Steps | Account requirement | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| In-game | Open Menu, select More, choose Redemption Code, enter the code, then confirm. | Must be logged into the game account that will receive the reward. | Players already playing on the account. |
| Official website | Visit zenless.hoyoverse.com/redemption, sign in, and follow the on-page instructions. | Must sign in to the correct account before entering the code. | Entering a code from a browser without opening the game. |
Both routes apply the same rules: the code must be valid, unexpired and unused on that account. Confirm the account before submitting, because a code redeemed on the wrong account cannot be moved.
Why a code is rejected
When the game returns an error that a code is invalid or already used, HoYoverse’s Help Center article on invalid or already used codes recommends checking the following, in order:
Rank #3

- Expiry: Confirm the code has not passed its deadline. SOLDIER0ANBY expired on March 1, 2025 at 23:59:59 (UTC+8).
- Server region: The code must match your server region: Asia, Europe, Americas, or TW/HK/MO.
- Typing: Check letter case and lookalike characters, especially zero (0) versus the letter O.
- Previous use: Each code works once per account. If it was already redeemed on that account, it will be rejected again.
Use codes only from official sources. HoYoverse recommends HoYoLAB, its YouTube channel and its Twitch channel. It states that third-party redemption software violates its Terms of Service and can lead to penalties on your account, so avoid tools that promise to redeem codes automatically.

- HoYoLAB: HoYoverse’s community platform, which carries official code announcements.
- YouTube and Twitch: HoYoverse’s official channels, where livestream codes are shared during broadcasts.
- Official news: The Zenless Zone Zero news page publishes version announcements and recaps, including the 1.6 material above.
A code announced during a livestream typically has a deadline shortly after the broadcast, so redeem it as soon as it appears and check the expiry time listed in the official post.

Note that the official sources used for this guide do not give a general lifespan for livestream codes. The 1.6 expiry date applies only to SOLDIER0ANBY.
