ZOTAC’s MAGNUS EN275060TC puts a discrete GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of GDDR7 into a 2.65-liter chassis measuring 210 × 203 × 62.2 mm. That makes it exceptionally small for a gaming PC with desktop-class graphics hardware—but the claim that it is simply “faster” than both the PS5 and Xbox Series X needs qualification.
In supported PC games, particularly when DLSS 4 and frame generation are enabled, it could deliver higher displayed frame rates than current consoles. However, the available performance figures are manufacturer claims rather than a complete set of independent, game-by-game comparisons.

Which mini PC is this?
The system is part of ZOTAC’s ZBOX MAGNUS EN family. Earlier coverage referred to it as the MAGNUS EN75060TC, while ZOTAC’s current U.S. product listing identifies it as the MAGNUS EN275060TC. The newer listing also names a Core Ultra 7 255HX processor, so the older model number and processor details should not be treated as interchangeable.

How can a PC this small use a desktop graphics card?
The key is that this is not an ordinary integrated-graphics mini PC. Its dedicated GeForce RTX 5060 Ti has its own 16GB of GDDR7 video memory and is designed for demanding 3D workloads, ray tracing and AI-assisted features.
ZOTAC describes the GPU as a desktop RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, which is significant because laptop GPUs with similar names can operate under different power limits and deliver different results. That description does not, by itself, prove that the internal board performs identically to every retail desktop RTX 5060 Ti. The available information also does not establish the exact GPU power limit, clocks, or how the 330W adapter divides power between the processor and graphics card.

The compact design comes with practical compromises. The external power brick saves space inside the enclosure, but it is part of the system’s real footprint. A desk setup must accommodate the PC, brick, cables and antennas—not just the 2.65-liter chassis.
Is it actually smaller than the PS5 and Xbox Series X?
The 2.65-liter figure is a volume comparison, not a claim that the ZOTAC machine is shorter, narrower and shallower than every version of both consoles. PS5 dimensions vary between disc and digital editions and across revisions, while the Xbox Series X uses a tall, rectangular design.
The MAGNUS is unusually shallow, but its footprint is relatively broad for a mini PC: 210 mm by 203 mm. Buyers planning a living-room installation should compare the exact console revision, orientation and available shelf space rather than relying only on the volume figure.
One Japanese listing gives a configured-system weight of approximately 2.04 kg. Weight can vary by configuration and region.

What does “faster than PS5 and Xbox Series X” really mean?
There is no single test that proves a PC is faster than a console. The comparison could mean higher average frame rates, better ray tracing, higher output resolution, faster CPU performance, better image quality or simply access to more graphics settings. Those are different outcomes.
ZOTAC-related reporting claims that the RTX 5060 Ti can exceed 100 frames per second in many modern games at 1440p ultra settings with DLSS 4. The same discussion reports approximately 49fps on average at 1440p with ray tracing. These numbers are useful indications of the hardware’s intended performance, but they are not independent benchmarks of the complete mini PC.
No universal win over both consoles has been established by those figures. A proper comparison would need the same games, equivalent visual settings, comparable resolution targets, identical image-reconstruction assumptions and clearly separated native, upscaled and frame-generated results.
Why the PC could outperform a console in some games
- Dedicated graphics hardware: The RTX 5060 Ti is substantially more capable than the integrated graphics used by conventional mini PCs.
- 16GB of dedicated VRAM: This gives demanding games more graphics memory to work with, although it does not guarantee a particular frame rate.
- DLSS and frame generation: NVIDIA’s reconstruction and frame-generation features can raise the displayed frame rate in supported games.
- Flexible settings: PC games allow users to adjust resolution, textures, ray tracing and upscaling independently.
- High-refresh displays: The system can target monitors and televisions beyond typical console performance modes, depending on the game and settings.
There is an important distinction here: generated frames are not the same as traditionally rendered frames. A headline frame-rate number should identify the internal render resolution, upscaling mode, whether Multi-Frame Generation is enabled and the resulting latency.

Console hardware is fixed, allowing developers to optimize extensively for one target. Console games also commonly use dynamic resolution and reconstruction techniques, so a console’s “4K” or performance mode may not mean native 4K rendering.
A PC may produce a higher displayed frame rate with DLSS, yet provide a different latency or image-quality experience than a console running a carefully tuned performance mode. Console owners also get simpler setup, predictable software targets and access to platform-specific games. PC users gain stores, mods, emulation, ultrawide support and keyboard-and-mouse compatibility, but must deal with Windows, drivers and per-game configuration.
Expansion and connectivity
For its size, the EN275060TC is unusually well equipped. Dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports can suit a compact workstation, home server or network-heavy setup. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 cover modern wireless connections, while two Thunderbolt 4 ports support compatible docks, storage and peripherals.

Three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI 2.1b output allow up to four displays according to ZOTAC. The two M.2 slots and two memory slots make the machine more flexible than a sealed console, although they do not make the graphics card an easily replaceable component.
Users should verify the memory requirement for their exact SKU. ZOTAC lists DDR5-6400 CSODIMM and DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM support, so buying generic laptop memory without checking the specification could lead to compatibility, boot or speed problems. A PCIe 5.0 SSD may also need a suitable heatsink because high-speed drives can run hot.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. The biggest unknowns are sustained performance, noise and price
A compact enclosure can produce impressive short benchmark results while behaving differently after prolonged gaming. The important unanswered questions include:
- Does the GPU maintain its expected clocks after 30 to 60 minutes of gaming?
- How loud are the fans at idle and under combined CPU/GPU load?
- What temperatures and power limits does the system use?
- Does a PCIe 5.0 SSD throttle under sustained transfers?
- Does the 330W adapter limit simultaneous processor and GPU workloads?
- How straightforward is it to open the chassis and install memory or storage?
- What warranty terms apply to user-installed components?
ZOTAC has an official Japanese review and benchmark hub for the newer model at hub.zotac.co.jp. Even with additional manufacturer-published results, independent measurements of acoustics, temperatures, power and frame-time consistency remain more useful for judging daily ownership.
Barebone costs change the buying decision
The advertised chassis is not necessarily a ready-to-play system. Before comparing it with a console or gaming desktop, add the cost of:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed

- At least one NVMe SSD
- Windows, if the selected SKU does not include it
- A monitor or television, keyboard, mouse and controller if needed
- Any suitable SSD heatsink
The launch coverage did not establish a price or release date, and the research available here does not establish a dependable current U.S. street price. Regional listings should not be converted directly into U.S. pricing because taxes, warranty coverage, shipping and included components differ. Check the official U.S. listing and the exact retailer configuration before treating any price as comparable.
Who should consider it?
It makes the most sense for:
- PC gamers who need serious graphics performance in very little space
- Small-desk users who want a discrete GPU rather than integrated graphics
- Enthusiasts comfortable installing RAM and storage
- People who want one compact machine for gaming, creative work, multi-monitor use or local AI workloads
- Players who value PC storefronts, mods and flexible peripherals
Be cautious if you:
- Want quiet, plug-and-play living-room simplicity
- Expect every game to exceed 100fps without upscaling or frame generation
- Need a standard internal power supply
- Plan to upgrade the graphics card later
- Prioritize performance per dollar over minimum size
- Need guaranteed U.S. stock, pricing or warranty support
Verdict
The MAGNUS EN275060TC is technically remarkable: a 2.65-liter PC with a discrete RTX 5060 Ti, a 20-core Core Ultra 7 processor, expandable memory and two M.2 slots. In some PC games and settings, especially with DLSS 4, it could produce higher displayed frame rates than the PS5 or Xbox Series X.
But “faster than both consoles” is not a verified all-purpose benchmark conclusion. The real decision depends on the final configured price, sustained performance, fan noise, power behavior and regional availability. For buyers who value maximum performance in minimum space, it is a compelling concept. For everyone else, a larger small-form-factor desktop, gaming laptop or console may offer better value and a simpler ownership experience.
