Arc Raiders changed its cosmetic store in November 2025 by lowering applicable Store Cosmetic Prices and refunding the difference to earlier buyers as Raider Tokens. The same update introduced Duo prioritized matchmaking rather than a guaranteed duo-only queue. Subsequent updates expanded customization, added Raider Tool cosmetics, and fixed several equip and appearance bugs.
Embark did not publish a complete before-and-after price list, a confirmed store rotation schedule, or a verified catalog of specific late-2025 skin prices. Here is what the official announcements actually confirm.
What changed in the Arc Raiders store?
Embark announced the store revision on November 12, 2025, with the change scheduled to go live on November 13 at 10:30 CET. The announcement said that applicable Store Cosmetic Prices had been lowered, but it did not include an item-by-item table showing the old and new prices.
The premium currency used for these purchases is Raider Tokens. Embark’s legal information describes Raider Tokens as usable for cosmetic and related items including Raider Decks, bundles, outfits, backpacks, charms, emotes, Scrappy outfits, and other cosmetic items. The price reduction therefore changed the token cost of eligible store content, not the game’s core combat economy.

- ARC Raiders Deluxe Edition includes the base game and the following content: The Wanderer Set, including the following cosmetic items: “Valente” Outfit" “Pathfinder” Backpack,“Blanket Roll” Backpack Attachment.
- Plus: Character Cosmetic, Finger Gun Rapid Fire Emote, Cowboy Scrappy Body Type and Skin, 2 400 Raider Tokens.
For the official announcement, see Embark’s Duo and Store Update.
How the late-2025 cosmetic refund worked
Players who purchased affected cosmetics at the old prices were promised an automatic refund of the difference. Embark said the refund would be delivered as Raider Tokens “in the coming week.”
- No manual claim button was specified.
- No command, redeem code, or console syntax was involved.
- The refund was described as an automatic token credit rather than a cash refund or reversal of the cosmetic purchase.
If you bought an eligible cosmetic before the reduction, the practical step was to check your Raider Token balance after the distribution period. The announcement did not publish a separate per-item refund table.

Were new skins added?
The official late-2025 material confirms continuing cosmetic additions, but it does not establish a complete list of new store skins or exact prices for individual outfits. In particular, commonly repeated claims about specific outfits, Leviathan sets, Scrappy pricing, or named “Wilderness Scout” cosmetics are not verified by the cited official sources.
Patch 1.2.0, released on November 13, 2025, introduced ACT I – NORTH LINE. Its headline content included the Stella Montis map, the Matriarch, the Shredder, a community unlock event, new items, and new quests. The patch also fixed a cosmetic presentation bug in which party members could initially appear with their base appearance instead of their selected cosmetics. Read the North Line Patch Notes for the confirmed update details.
Raider Decks and pay-to-win concerns
Embark stated that Gameplay Items are only in free Raider Decks. Premium Raider Decks were described as focused on cosmetics and convenience, with no pay-to-win items. That distinction matters: purchasing a premium Deck or store cosmetic was not presented as a way to obtain gameplay advantages.

- Capture and Tame Dinosaurs: Discover over 100 different dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures on the island, finding ways to tame them into useful additions for your tribe's dyno herd
- Survive Above All: Hunger, thirst, basic safety, and protecting yourself from the weather are all part of the game
- Harvest, Hunt and Build: Cut down trees and turn them into a basic home, which you can quickly expand into a Jurassic estate. Hunt for meat, scavenge for plants (or start your own garden!)
- Customize Everything: An extensive crafting system invites you to mix and match materials scavenged from the island, while also modifying the colors, textures, shapes, and styles
- Explore the Island: Solve the mystery of The ARK as you explore this massive island, discovering Explorer's Notebooks (filled with clues!) throughout
The official wording supports a cosmetics-and-convenience model, but it does not mean every premium item is free. Raider Tokens remain the currency for applicable paid cosmetic content.
What the duo matchmaking update actually did
Late-2025 coverage often described the change as a dedicated “duo queue,” but Embark used the more precise term Duo prioritized matchmaking.
The system attempts to match:
- Solos with Solos
- Duos with Duos
- Trios with Trios
- Squads with Squads
However, Embark explicitly said that mismatched team compositions can still occur. Duo prioritized matchmaking was therefore a preference in matchmaking, not a promise that every duo would enter a lobby containing only duos or that a separate guaranteed duo playlist existed.

Customization improvements in Cold Snap
Cold Snap Patch Notes 1.7.0, released December 16, 2025, added more customization functionality and corrected several problems affecting cosmetics and equipment.
Confirmed UI changes
- Character Customization: added character rotation and notifications for recently unlocked items.
- Loadout screen: fixed cases where equipment purchased there was not equipped after selecting Equip on the purchase screen.
- Live Events carousel: added to the Main Menu.
- Round Feedback: added to the final end-of-round screen.
- Cinematic: added as a graphics-setting label.
- Aim Down Sights: added as an option, although the patch notes do not specify its complete menu path.
The patch also added festive items, announced the free Raider Deck named Goalie for December 26, and introduced Raider Tool customization. See the official Cold Snap Patch Notes 1.7.0.
Cosmetic and loadout bugs fixed
Version 1.7.0 addressed several edge cases that could make customization appear unreliable:

- ARC Raiders–Inspired Design: Bold, high-quality graphics with vibrant colors that capture the iconic ARC Raiders aesthetic.
- Durable Premium Vinyl: Made from thick, high-grade vinyl for long-lasting use on cars, laptops, skateboards, walls, and flasks.
- UV & Weather Resistant: Fade-proof, waterproof, and scratch-resistant—perfect for indoor and outdoor applications.
- Easy Application & Removal: Applies smoothly without bubbles and removes cleanly with no sticky residue left behind.
- Versatile Décor & Gift Idea: Ideal for personalizing gear, accessories, and spaces, and a great gift for ARC Raiders fans.
- The first equip action could unintentionally unequip an item.
- Players could spawn with default customization and lose loadout items.
- Returning to the game after Alt-Tab could leave movement and ability inputs disabled while camera controls still worked.
These were bug fixes, not evidence of a new pricing model. They are relevant because a purchased cosmetic or equipped loadout item is only useful if the game displays and retains it correctly.
What is not officially confirmed?
Readers should be cautious with late-2025 store guides that present unsupported specifics as official facts. The November store announcement does not verify:
- A weekly store refresh or any other fixed rotation interval
- Exact store categories or button-by-button navigation
- Exact before-and-after prices for cosmetics
- That no older item was removed from rotation
- Specific skin names and token prices repeated by third-party coverage
Store availability can also be time-sensitive. Unless a claim is backed by an in-game capture or a separate official store notice, the safest conclusion is only that applicable cosmetic prices were reduced and affected earlier purchases were credited the difference in Raider Tokens.
How to interpret the late-2025 changes
Taken together, the updates made Arc Raiders’ cosmetic systems more transparent and usable without changing the stated separation between paid cosmetics and gameplay items. The key points are:
