Cronos: The New Dawn launched globally on September 5, 2025. Bloober Team revealed the date in its release-date trailer published July 31, 2025; the game is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
When did the release-date trailer reveal the launch date?
Bloober Team’s official release-date trailer, titled “Cronos: The New Dawn | Salvage The Past | Release Date Trailer,” was published on July 31, 2025. The company’s investor report setting out the launch date is also dated July 31. Its separate story-trailer announcement page followed on August 4, 2025, and likewise identified September 5 as the global launch date. Bloober Team’s August 4 story-trailer announcement says that trailer introduces Soul Harvesting.

The game is no longer awaiting release: Bandai Namco’s launch notice was published September 5, 2025, and Bloober Team’s September 12 post describes it as out across all four platforms.
Which platforms is Cronos: The New Dawn available on?
The launched platform lineup is PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The July 31 investor report initially listed PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S for the worldwide launch; a separate Switch 2 report from the same day added Nintendo’s console. Bandai Namco’s launch notice confirms availability across the full lineup.

Are physical editions available?
Physical availability depends on platform and region; the announcements do not establish universal retail availability. Bloober’s July 31 reports listed boxed editions for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, while Bandai Namco’s later launch notice specifies physical Standard Editions for PS5, Switch 2, and PC through major retailers in EMEA and Australia.
