Yes, the Switch 2 delay is no longer current. On September 11, 2025, CD PROJEKT RED announced that Patch 2.31 was rolling out on Nintendo Switch 2. That confirms the platform was receiving later updates, but it does not identify the precise date that Update 2.3 reached Switch 2. Four new vehicles and ways to get around
- Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru
- Rayfield Caliburn “Mordred”

Acquisition conditions vary: some vehicles are rewards for side jobs, while one is available through AUTOFIXER.
AutoDrive lets an owned vehicle travel to a selected destination or take a free-roam ride, with an optional cinematic camera. It is unavailable during combat or when the vehicle is heavily damaged. Players can also request a self-driving Delamain taxi for a fee in eurodollars after completing “Don’t Lose Your Mind” and receiving a message from Delamain.

More vehicle customization
CrystalCoat paint customization now covers additional partner-brand vehicles, including motorcycles. A cracked finish extends custom paint options to many lower-end vehicles, although some vehicles are excluded.
Expanded Photo Mode
Photo Mode gains 27 additional spawnable NPCs, alternate outfits, more poses, eye-look controls, lighting refinements, stickers and frames, color-balance controls, and settings for weather and time of day. Players can also use frame advance and adjust game speed for more control over a shot.

Who gets Update 2.3, and is it free?
Update 2.3 is free for anyone who owns the Cyberpunk 2077 base game. Phantom Liberty and Ultimate Edition are not required, and players do not need to start a new save. CD PROJEKT RED’s Update 2.3 FAQ says the update downloads automatically for connected owners on supported platforms.
For someone who does not already own the game, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 is available as a physical 64 GB game card or digital download and includes the base game and Phantom Liberty. Buying the game is not necessary to get Update 2.3 if you already own the base game.
