What is Dhelmise weak to?
Dhelmise’s Ghost/Grass typing gives it five listed weaknesses: Dark, Fire, Flying, Ghost, and Ice. The Pokémon GO Hub raid guide also lists Fighting, Normal, Electric, Grass, Ground, and Water among its resistances. For a raid team, prioritize attacks of one of the five weakness types rather than relying on a Pokémon’s type alone.

The plus-marked moves and some other strong moves may be legacy or otherwise unavailable to every player. Check each Pokémon’s move availability before building a team around a specific moveset. If you do not have the listed top options, use your strongest available attackers with Fire, Flying, or Dark moves; Ghost and Ice attacks are also super effective.

How to choose a team
- Use Pokémon and moves you already have powered up; a theoretical ranking is less useful if the recommended Pokémon or move is unavailable to you.
- Compare move effectiveness, likely survivability, and your roster—not just the simulator’s rank.
- Account for weather and legacy-move settings when interpreting the database’s modeled damage and faint estimates.
Pokémon GO Hub says a high-level, prepared trainer can solo Dhelmise, but that is not a guarantee for every account or battle setup. If your counters are lower-level or lack effective moves, bring a teammate.
How to get Dhelmise in Pokémon GO right now
The confirmed sources establish past opportunities, not a live encounter route for October 8, 2026. Check your local in-game raid and Field Research listings for current availability; the October event calendar does not confirm Dhelmise in the active rotation.
Past event opportunities
- Beloved Buddies: Dhelmise made its Pokémon GO debut in three-star raids from February 11 at 10:00 a.m. through February 15, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time.
- Pinch Perfect: From January 6–11, 2026, Dhelmise appeared in three-star raids and Field Research. The event was also the Shiny Dhelmise debut opportunity. Dhelmise was listed among paid Timed Research rewards, but that ticket and its reward-claim deadline have expired.
- Other historical research: Serebii lists past entries including Partner Research – Ito En 2025, GO Fest 2026 research, and Precious Paths Finale Timed Research. A historical listing does not mean an encounter can still be claimed.
