It depends on which Dungeons & Dragons rules your table uses. Under the 2014 fifth-edition rules, an Antimagic Field suppresses an existing Wild Shape while the Druid is inside; the transformation resumes after the Druid leaves if its duration has not expired. Under the revised 2024 rules, the feature’s wording and the rules glossary support Wild Shape continuing to work in the field, though that conclusion is an inference rather than a specific official ruling on this interaction.
2014 rules: the field suppresses Wild Shape
The 2014 Druid feature says the character can “magically assume the shape of a beast.” The official Sage Advice Compendium describes Wild Shape as a magical effect that is not created by a spell. The 2014 Antimagic Field rules suppress spells and other magical effects in the area, so an existing Wild Shape does not function while the Druid is within the field.
This is suppression, not dispelling or permanent termination. When the Druid leaves the field, the transformation resumes if its duration has not run out.
Antimagic Field is not Dispel Magic
The Compendium says: “Dispel Magic has a particular purpose: to break other spells. It has no effect on a magical effect that isn’t created by a spell unless the text says otherwise (though the DM can always make exceptions).” Thus, the 2014 ruling that Wild Shape is magical does not mean Dispel Magic ends it. The two effects have different rules.

2024 rules: Wild Shape likely works in the field
The revised Druid feature says, “The power of nature allows you to assume the form of an animal.” Unlike the 2014 text, it does not describe the transformation as magical. The 2024 Rules Glossary defines a Magical Effect as one “created by a spell, a magic item, or a phenomenon that a rule labels as magical.”
The revised Druid feature does not label Wild Shape magical, while the 2024 Antimagic Field blocks spells, Magic actions, and other magical effects and suppresses ongoing spells. Read together, those texts support Wild Shape working inside the field under the revised rules. This is a rules-text inference; the official sources cited here do not give a specific ruling on the 2024 interaction.

Which ruling should your table use?
Check whether your campaign uses the 2014 or revised 2024 rules, then apply that version consistently. The 2014 Sage Advice interpretation addresses the older feature wording; it should not automatically be carried over to the revised text. The DM has final authority for the table, particularly where a campaign uses house rules or an older printing. Wizards of the Coast describes its rules-support approach here.
