When did Dragon’s Dogma 2 come out?
Capcom announced March 22, 2024, as the release date for Dragon’s Dogma 2 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Capcom’s announcement is the publisher’s date for the original game.

Steam’s listing displays March 21, 2024, for the PC version. That is the date shown by the PC storefront; it does not replace Capcom’s announced March 22 date. Readers checking the game in a local store may see a date that reflects that storefront’s listing.
Is another Dragon’s Dogma 2 release coming?
Yes. Capcom has scheduled Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen for October 9, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Capcom describes it as an expansion that adds a new story to the 2024 game. This is a distinct release from the original base game.

Can you preload Dragon’s Dogma 2, and when?
There is no verified current preload schedule in the official sources. Players reported console preload availability around March 20, 2024, ahead of the original launch, but that is a launch-period observation—not a promise about a current build or the 2026 Dark Arisen package.

No official current platform-by-platform download size or installed size is established in the cited listings. Steam’s available support listing gives system requirements but no storage-size figure. Its PC listing therefore cannot support a definitive current size for every platform or edition.

A community report from the original launch period put the PS5 download at approximately 64.390 GB. That figure is a dated player observation, not an official installed-size specification. It should not be treated as the current PS5 size, or applied to Xbox, PC, Switch 2, or the Dark Arisen package.
Download size and installed size are different measurements. For the amount of space to make available today, use the storage information shown for your chosen edition and build on its platform; do not infer an installed requirement from an old download report.
