Ubisoft has documented fixes for both problems in Far Cry 6. One is a co-op bug that stopped the Triada Blessings and Boom or Bust missions from completing correctly. The other is an autosave glitch that could trap a dying player in a repeating death and loading loop. The fixes appear in Title Update 2, announced November 10, 2021, and Title Update 5, announced March 22, 2022. Ubisoft’s official notes do not say either problem is still occurring in 2026. A May 15, 2026 report from Position is Everything says Ubisoft is aware of current reports, but that claim could not be checked against an official Ubisoft notice.
What the Title Update 2 notes say
Ubisoft’s November 10, 2021 post about the Insanity season pass DLC carried the Title Update 2 notes and said the update had “launched last week.” Its fixes include two separate entries that matter here.

Co-op mission completion
The first entry reads: “Fixed an issue where the missions ‘Triada Blessings’ and ‘Boom or Bust’ would not complete correctly when completing them in Co-Op.” The notice names both missions and ties the failure to co-op play. It does not describe what triggered the failure, and it does not say which platforms were affected.
Autosave death loop
The second entry reads: “Fixed an issue that could cause a looping death and loading screen situation when an autosave was made while the player was dying.” The trigger is timing. An autosave that fires while the character is in the dying state can start a loop of death and loading screens. The notice does not say that the mission bug caused the loop, so the two should be treated as separate issues unless a later official source links them.

Title Update 5 and a second death-loop fix
Ubisoft’s March 22, 2022 Title Update 5 post says the update was live on all platforms and that PC and console players needed to download the patch to receive its fixes. Among those fixes: “Fixed an issue that could cause an infinite death loop when an auto-save happened as soon as the player died.”
This wording closely matches the autosave entry in Title Update 2. Ubisoft’s notes do not explain whether the Title Update 5 entry describes a separate defect, a more precise description of the same behavior, or a later correction. Readers should not assume the two entries describe identical problems.

Whether the problems are still happening
The official record for these two items ends with the March 2022 notes. Those notes establish that fixes were released. They do not establish a 2026 recurrence, an open support case, or whether Ubisoft considers the matter closed for every player. The May 2026 secondary report is the only current source that describes ongoing reports, and its troubleshooting material could not be verified against Ubisoft documentation.
A current claim would be supported by a dated Ubisoft notice, such as a support article or a statement from its support team, or by a specific player report that names the mission or symptom, the game version, the platform, and whether co-op or solo play was involved.

How the two issues differ
Readers often merge these problems because they both involve the end of a mission or a death. They are different failures with different triggers, so reports should be sorted before they are compared.

If you are still affected
Start with official channels before trying changes to your game. Secondary coverage lists community suggestions such as changing the co-op host, using Save & Quit, and verifying game files. Ubisoft’s notices reviewed here do not endorse any of these, and none has been confirmed as a fix. If you try one, back up your save files first and change one thing at a time.
