Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.41 added Oizys to Cosmic Exploration and continued the Phantom Weapon quest line. It also introduced recipes and a new expert-crafting condition, made targeted Summoner adjustments, added an Echo effect to AAC Cruiserweight Tier (Savage), and brought new collectibles and fixes. Patch 7.41 was released on February 3, 2026; it is a historical update, not the current version.
Patch 7.41 at a glance
The official English notes were updated February 3, 2026 at 08:00 GMT. The main additions are a new Cosmic Exploration destination for crafters and gatherers and further level 100 weapon-enhancement quests for combat jobs. Other changes include four Summoner potency increases, a 10% Echo in AAC Cruiserweight Tier (Savage), the Robust condition for new expert recipes, and a range of collectible and quality-of-life additions. Unlock Oizys in Cosmic Exploration
Requirements and access
To begin the Oizys content, accept “Mission of Gravity” as a level 10 Disciple of the Hand or Land after completing “The Brightest Star.” Cosmic Exploration quest progress is limited to your character’s Home World. You do not need to have helped develop Sinus Ardorum or Phaenna to join Oizys.
Credits, tokens, and artifact searches
Oizys stellar missions and projects grant Oizys credits, which can be exchanged for mech-op pilot applications or cosmic fortunes. EX+ stellar missions award Oizys exploration tokens; the tokens can be exchanged for a special mount, and both the tokens and mount are market-board tradable.

Artifact searches use dronebits earned from qualifying missions. Exchange dronebits for drone modules, then use reconnaissance drones to locate artifacts. Examining an artifact yields an unappraised ancient record that can be appraised. Oizys contributions determine your Starward Standings there; contributions on other stars do not count toward the Oizys contribution score.
Enhance cosmic tools
Disciples of the Hand and Land can enhance cosmic tools using research data earned from stellar missions. The relevant prototype does not have to be equipped to earn data, but data accrues through missions for a particular class.
Continue the Phantom Weapon quest line
Patch 7.41 adds “Timeworn Techniques,” “In Pursuit of Perfection,” and “A Phantom Reborn.” The entry requirements are level 100 on a Disciple of War or Magic and completion of “Wrought by Hands Phantasmal.”

Completing “A Phantom Reborn” awards an enhanced weapon based on the job used to complete the quest. The preceding quest provides a phantom glass to track progress. Quest advancement must stay on the class or job with which you accepted the quests. To enhance additional weapons, trade Allagan tomestones of mathematics for Waning Arcanite, then exchange the Arcanite in the Phantom Village.
Battle and job adjustments
Summoner potency increases
At level 100, four Summoner actions receive higher potency:

Savage raid Echo and other encounter changes
AAC Cruiserweight Tier (Savage) now grants the Echo when players enter: maximum HP, damage dealt, and healing potency increase by 10%. This instance does not increase Echo strength after all party members are incapacitated.
Some effects in AAC Heavyweight M1 and M1 (Savage) were adjusted to make ally actions easier to distinguish. In the Worqor Chirteh (Triumph) Frontline campaign, triumphs appear more frequently near the map center.
Crafting, collectibles, and system changes
New expert-crafting condition
New recipes arrive with the Robust condition, which applies only to expert recipes added in Patch 7.41. Robust reduces durability loss by 50% and guarantees a Sturdy material condition for the next step.

Items and cosmetic additions
The update adds housing furnishings, orchestrion rolls, Triple Triad cards, an emote, mounts, chocobo barding, minions, facewear, achievements and titles, portrait accents, adventurer plate accents, and music and sound effects. It also adds platform-specific dictionaries or achievements.
Command and field instances
The new /stomp text command can display text and motion; the motion subcommand displays motion only. Oizys is temporarily divided into multiple field instances to reduce congestion, which may be removed when congestion is no longer an issue. Solution Nine, Living Memory, and Phaenna are no longer divided into multiple instances.
Fixes and known issues
The resolved-issue list covers Hell on Rails damage, Heavyweight raid attack indicators and execution, PvP HUD behavior, gear display, treasure-dungeon job changes, Diadem gathering points, and strategy boards. For one job-change issue, a provisional measure makes job changes available after 10 seconds; using Sprint reverses the block. The notes say an official fix is scheduled for Patch 7.5.

The notes also list Oizys loading and quest-display problems, a Phaenna mech-op gathering-point issue, and a Lord of Verminion minion ability that slows movement by 50% despite help text stating 70%. Some listed issues have workarounds. Because issue status can change after the release, consult the live official notes before treating any of them as unresolved today.
Is Patch 7.41 still current?
No. The official Lodestone update history lists later updates through Patch 7.56, including 7.45, 7.5, 7.51, 7.55, and 7.56. The 7.56 character-profile update is dated September 8, 2026. Use the 7.41 notes as a release reference rather than a description of the current game. Check the Lodestone update history.
For release-period context, Square Enix’s portal announcement also highlights Oizys and the Phantom Weapon continuation; it notes that the Valentione’s Day in-game event began February 2.
