M6S is AAC Cruiserweight M2 (Savage), the Sugar Riot encounter in Final Fantasy XIV’s Arcadion raid series. It is the second fight in the Cruiserweight Savage tier. The available encounter references establish the fight’s identity and mechanics, but not the specific party, strategy, or execution of any particular clear.
What M6S means
Players use “M6S” as shorthand for AAC Cruiserweight M2 (Savage); Sugar Riot is the boss. The fight is the second encounter in The Arcadion’s second raid tier, AAC Cruiserweight. Square Enix places the tier in Patch 7.2 (Patch 7.2 notes; Dawntrail Patch 7.2), and the encounter guide identifies Sugar Riot as the M2 Savage boss (Icy Veins’ AAC Cruiserweight M2 Savage guide).

When Savage opened
Patch 7.2 released on March 25, 2025, and Square Enix announced that Savage difficulty would become available on April 1, 2025—one week later. Those are the historical release dates, not an upcoming schedule (Patch 7.2 notes; Square Enix’s April 1 announcement).
Entry requirements and duty access
Square Enix lists AAC Cruiserweight M2 Savage for level-100 players in an eight-player party, with an average item-level requirement of 735 for matchmaking. The duty is accessed through Raid Finder. Registering as a full party removes the item-level and role restrictions, according to the official Patch 7.2 notes; check the in-game duty listing for current entry rules.

What the fight asks of a party
Sugar Riot’s square arena changes as the encounter progresses, and the later add phase has four waves. The guide’s examples show why teams need clear positioning and target priorities: Yan must be kept apart from Mu, Feather Rays leave puddles, and Jabberwock can bind a healer until the add is defeated (Icy Veins’ encounter guide).
Those are general encounter mechanics, not proof of how a particular group handled them. A “clear” title by itself does not establish the players’ jobs, gear, voice-chat use, chosen strategy, clear date, or kill time. Without the actual recording or creator-provided details, those specifics should not be inferred.

Rewards and weekly eligibility
The official notes describe Savage rewards as job-dependent gear from coffers and illustrated tokens that can be exchanged for selected gear. They also state that loot eligibility for a first clear resets weekly. Because reward and eligibility rules can change, confirm the current details in game before planning a clear around them (Square Enix’s Patch 7.2 notes).
