When did the Genshin Impact 5.5 livestream air?
HoYoverse announced that the Version 5.5 Special Program would air on March 14, 2025, at 7:00 AM (UTC−5). That was 12:00 UTC and 8:00 AM UTC−4 on the same day. The official announcement gives the original schedule; Game8’s time-zone listing confirms the corresponding conversions.
Is there a countdown timer?
No. The broadcast took place in 2025, so a live countdown to its start would be misleading. Watch the official recording instead:

What did the Special Program include?
HoYoverse said the program would share details about new content and developments in Version 5.5, along with redemption codes and other goodies. The codes shown during the stream expired on March 17, 2025, at 00:00 UTC−4, according to the official video description; they can no longer be redeemed.

The livestream preceded the version update. HoYoverse’s March 24, 2025 maintenance notice said maintenance was expected to begin on March 26, 2025, at 06:00 UTC+8. That maintenance time is separate from the Special Program broadcast schedule.
