During that event, the Fisch Wiki lists three ways to obtain it: buy it for 2,500 bells at the third igloo by the zipline, complete the Santa Shark and Northwind Ned quests at Winter Village, or fish in Winter Castle. Using the relic grants a primary or secondary rod enchantment.
How did players get the Festive Relic in Fisch?
The unofficial Fisch Wiki’s Festive Relic page marks the item as limited to Fischmas 2025 and lists these routes:
| # | Preview | Product | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 |
|
PhatMojo FISCH Head Bundle Action Figure Playset | $15.95 | Buy on Amazon |
| Route | What to do |
|---|---|
| Buy it | Pay 2,500 bells at the third igloo by the zipline. |
| Complete quests | Complete the Santa Shark and Northwind Ned quests at Winter Village. |
| Fish for it | Fish in Winter Castle. |
The wiki’s Fischmas 2025 page gives the event dates as December 14, 2025, through January 4, 2026. These are historical routes from that event; they are not confirmed methods for a future Fischmas.
Is the Festive Relic still available?
The available item and progression pages do not confirm a Fischmas rerun or a current way to obtain the relic. Treat it as a Fischmas 2025 limited item unless the game itself offers it again in a later event. Roblox’s Fisch listing advertises a FischFright 3 event scheduled for October 17, 2026, but that announcement does not establish that Fischmas or the Festive Relic has returned.

What does the Festive Relic do?
Using the relic applies a primary or secondary enchantment to a rod. The Fisch Wiki lists these effects:
| Enchantment | Type | Listed effects |
|---|---|---|
| Merry | Primary | 10% chance for the Merry mutation; +35% lure speed; +35% progress speed. |
| Gingerbread | Primary | 10% chance for Gingerbread; +40% fish size; +10% progress speed. |
| Peppermint | Secondary | 10% chance for Peppermint; 40% chance per fish movement to stab for 1% progress; +25% luck. |
These percentages and effects are published game data from the unofficial wiki, not independently tested results.
Why did the relic matter for Maelstrom?
In the Maelstrom progression route, the Fisch Wiki’s Maelstrom page says players needed to apply a Festive Relic to a Fischmas rod to fish for the Cryoshock Serpent. It also suggests Peppermint as a secondary enchantment for Maelstrom. The page, updated September 25, 2026, describes the Maelstrom rod as no longer available or obtainable; this is a specific progression use, not the relic’s only listed purpose.
