Nintendo’s latest listed update for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is version 1.1.0, released June 3, 2025, in the Americas. It adds a way to filter for favorited echoes once you have learned at least 30; the Nintendo Switch 2 version also gains visual optimization and HDR support.
What version 1.1.0 changes
Nintendo’s Americas update history lists version 1.1.0 as the latest update. Nintendo UK lists the same update as released June 4, 2025, one day later than the Americas date. The two regional pages describe the same changes.

Favorited echoes on both systems
On both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, a filter displays only favorited echoes after you have learned 30 or more. This gives players with a larger collection a way to narrow the list to echoes they have marked as favorites.
Visual changes on Nintendo Switch 2
Nintendo lists visual optimization for the Switch 2 console display and high-resolution TVs, along with HDR support to improve image contrast and brightness. HDR in TV mode requires an HDR-compatible display. Nintendo does not give specific resolution, frame-rate, or performance figures for these changes.

Issue fixes
Nintendo also lists general issue fixes for both platforms but does not identify the individual issues addressed in version 1.1.0.
How to update the game
- Connect your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 to the internet.
- From the HOME Menu, highlight The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom without starting the game.
- Press + or − to open the software options.
- Select Software Update, then Via the Internet.
If the console is online and automatic software updates are enabled, Nintendo says the update downloads and installs automatically. Nintendo also states: “Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.” Nintendo of America’s update instructions provide the installation steps and save-data guidance.

Earlier updates
Nintendo’s Americas version history lists two earlier updates:
- Version 1.0.2 — October 20, 2024: Fixed an invisible wall at the entrance to Goron City that could impede progress during a main quest at Eldin Volcano, and a separate issue in which targeting empty space and using Bind to pull could impede progress. Nintendo also lists general issue fixes.
- Version 1.0.1 — September 25, 2024: Addressed several issues; Nintendo does not enumerate them on its update page.
