If you mean a plant’s upgrade level, the highest mastery notation supported by an EA Forums community answer is M200: plants can gain 200 Mastery levels after reaching their ordinary maximum. That ordinary maximum varies by plant, so M200 is not the standard level cap for every plant.
What does M200 mean in PvZ2?
Plants have an ordinary maximum level, then may progress through Mastery. An EA Forums community answer by eieio_31310 describes 200 Mastery levels beyond the ordinary maximum and identifies M200 as the endpoint: EA Forums: What to do with maxed-out plants? This is a community response hosted on EA’s forum, not a figure stated on EA’s official feature page.
EA’s feature page explains that players earn seed packets and use them to power up plants, but it does not give a universal ordinary cap or a plant-by-plant level table: Plants vs. Zombies 2 — Electronic Arts. The regular maximum therefore depends on the plant; M200 refers to the mastery stage after that maximum.
