If your Adventure Rank is stuck at 25, you likely need to complete the Adventure Rank Ascension Quest. Open the in-game Quest menu and look for it. HoYoverse says Adventure EXP earned while you are capped is stored and applied automatically once you successfully complete the quest.
Why Adventure Rank stops at 25
Genshin Impact places progression caps at certain Adventure Ranks. At those milestones, your rank will not advance until you complete the corresponding Ascension Quest, according to HoYoverse Support. AR 25 is one of those milestones; a HoYoLAB guide for AR 25 directs players to find the Ascension Quest in the Quest menu.

How to get past AR 25
- Open the in-game Quest menu.
- Look for the Adventure Rank Ascension Quest and complete it successfully.
- After completion, check your Adventure Rank again. HoYoverse says stored Adventure EXP is applied automatically, so you do not need to earn that capped EXP again.
What happens to Adventure EXP earned while capped?
It is not necessarily lost. HoYoverse says Adventure EXP earned while your rank is capped is stored and applied after you successfully complete the Ascension Quest. Your rank may therefore increase when the quest is done, depending on how much EXP you accumulated.
What if the Ascension Quest is missing or will not complete?
The available guidance establishes where to look for the quest, but does not establish a current, universal fix for a quest that is missing or cannot be completed. Check the Quest menu for the named Ascension Quest and follow the in-game objective; avoid assuming a specific account or gameplay cause without more information.

Does AR 25 unlock anything else?
HoYoverse’s Version 1.1 announcement listed AR 25 as an eligibility condition for City Reputation. That is historical information, not a complete guide to the current system; check the in-game City Reputation details for current requirements. HoYoverse’s Version 1.1 announcement.
