Seven days is not a universal release date for pending Robux. Roblox uses the word “pending” for several different kinds of transaction, and only some of them carry a seven-day figure. Find out which type your entry is first, and the next step usually becomes clear.
Start with My Transactions
Roblox’s “Where are my Robux?” help page directs account holders to their balance and to the My Transactions page, which includes filters labeled Summary, Currency Purchases, Sales of Goods, Creator Rewards, and Group Payouts. Use that page as your first check.
- Sign in to the Roblox account that earned, received, or purchased the Robux. A pending entry on a different account will not show here.
- Open your Robux balance and go to My Transactions.
- Note the transaction date and the filter it appears under. Creator earnings sit under Sales of Goods or Creator Rewards, group earnings under Group Payouts, and purchases under Currency Purchases.
- Match the entry to one of the types below, then follow the timing and action for that type.
- If the entry does not clear, or you cannot match it to any type, contact Roblox Support (see the section below).
What “pending” means for each transaction type
The table compares the five situations that most often produce a pending balance. The timing column reflects only what Roblox states. Where Roblox gives no schedule, the table says so.
| Type | Where it usually appears | Timing Roblox states | Your next step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Experience Pass sale earnings (creator) | My Transactions, as pending Robux | Held in escrow until the holding period ends; no fixed day count stated for all sales | Check the entry date and wait for it to move into your total; contact support if it stalls |
| Paid access in Robux (creator payout) | Creator Hub payout records and My Transactions | Held in escrow for up to 7 days before payout to the linked bank account | Confirm the bank account is linked; if the payout is past 7 days, contact support |
| Incoming Robux transfer | Pending Robux until transfer requirements are complete | Recipient must meet age requirements within 7 days, or the transfer is canceled and returned to the sender | Complete any age check or acceptance step before the deadline |
| Purchase during a service outage | Currency Purchases | Completed purchases usually apply within an hour and at most within 24 hours | Check Roblox’s status information; keep your receipt if it has not applied |
| Security-related delayed action | Account notification rather than a balance entry | A security hold that typically lasts several hours | Follow the notification; if you did not start the action, use “No, it’s not me” and secure the account |
Experience Pass earnings and escrow
Roblox’s Experience Passes help article uses the term escrow directly: “Robux earned from Experience Pass sales are held in pending status being released for you to use. This pending status is called escrow.” (Roblox Support, “Experience Passes”). The same article directs creators to My Transactions to view the pending amount. It does not give a single release schedule for every sale, so a seven-day wait is not a guaranteed outcome.

Paid access payouts
Roblox Creator Hub states that payouts for purchases of paid access in Robux are held in escrow for up to 7 days before they are deposited into the linked bank account. The phrase is “up to,” so seven days is a maximum for this program, not an exact date. Because this rule belongs to paid access and its bank payout, it should not be applied to other kinds of Robux balance.
Incoming transfers
A transfer is not a creator sale. Roblox’s “Sending and Receiving Robux” help page says the amount can appear under Pending Robux until the transfer requirements are met. The seven days is a deadline for the recipient to meet age requirements. If those requirements are not met in time, the transfer is canceled and the Robux goes back to the sender. Meeting the requirement does not automatically deliver the Robux on day seven.

Purchases and outages
Roblox’s “What happens when Roblox is down?” page describes delayed purchase delivery during service issues. It says completed purchases are usually applied within an hour and at most within 24 hours. That guidance covers purchase delivery only. It is not a general timetable for creator earnings. If you were charged and the Robux has not appeared, keep the receipt and the payment details ready for support.
Delayed Actions
Roblox’s “Delayed Actions” help page describes a security hold on certain sensitive account actions, which typically lasts several hours. It is unrelated to sales escrow. If you receive a Roblox security notification about an action you did not take, use the “No, it’s not me” option and secure the account.

When and how to contact Roblox Support
Contact Roblox Support if the entry is still unexplained after the expected window, or if it does not match any type above. Roblox’s Contact Us page asks for your username, the device you use, the relevant category, and a specific description of the problem. For billing questions, include the payment type, the transaction dates and amounts, and any error messages exactly as shown. Screenshots of the My Transactions entry make the request easier to resolve.
What will not release pending Robux
- Third-party “pending Robux release” services and “free Robux” generators. Roblox’s official guidance does not describe any paid or outside service that speeds up an existing pending balance. Do not enter your login details into such offers.
- A Roblox gift card. A gift card can be used to buy Robux, but it does not release Robux that is already pending from a sale or transfer.
- Repeating the purchase or transfer. Sending a second transfer or buying again does not clear the first entry and can create a second balance to resolve.
Limits of the published information
Roblox’s help pages do not state a universal timeline for all pending Robux, and the paid-access and transfer rules each apply only to their own program. The Creator Hub and Support pages cited here do not show a publication date on the page, so policies and interface labels may have changed since they were written. Check the current wording on Roblox’s help pages before relying on a specific deadline.
