Yes. Castlevania Dominus Collection brings all three Castlevania games originally released for Nintendo DS to Nintendo Switch: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. It also includes the arcade game Haunted Castle and a redesigned version, Haunted Castle Revisited—but those two are not DS games.
Which DS Castlevania games are in the collection?
Konami’s Dominus Collection packages the DS trilogy, with each entry built around a different character and gameplay system:
- Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow: Soma Cruz returns a year after Aria of Sorrow. Konami describes its weapon-creation system as combining Tactical Souls.
- Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin: Jonathan Morris and Charlotte Aulin investigate Dracula’s castle. Players can switch between the two characters, whose different abilities shape the adventure. The original DS release was in 2006.
- Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia: Shanoa uses glyphs found through exploration and combat to recover powerful symbols stolen from the Order.
The collection also contains Haunted Castle, the 1988 arcade game starring Simon Belmont, and Haunted Castle Revisited, a redesigned and rebalanced reinterpretation. They expand the package beyond the trilogy, but do not make it a collection of every Castlevania game.
How does the Switch collection handle the DS screens?
The original DS games used two small 4:3 LCD screens. On modern 16:9 displays, the collection offers five screen modes so players can choose how the game view, status information, and map are arranged. Two-screen layouts are available for a presentation closer to the DS setup.

- LIMITED EDITION: Official Limited Run Games release #251 of the Castlevania Dominus Collection featuring Order of Ecclesia cover art for Nintendo Switch
- GAME FORMAT: Physical DVD-ROM release, not a digital download, packaged in standard Nintendo Switch game case
- CONTENT: Action-packed collection of classic Castlevania games, rated T for Teen by ESRB
- PACKAGING DIMENSIONS: Comes in standard Switch case measuring 6 inches high, 3 inches wide, and 2 inches deep
- REGION AND LANGUAGE: US release with English language support, compatible with Nintendo Switch systems
Producer Tsutomu Taniguchi recommended a three-screen arrangement: “We recommend the three-screen layout, with the enlarged game window as the main screen, and a smaller status window and map window as sub-screens.” That is the producer’s suggested setup, rather than a tested verdict on which mode works best. The layouts adapt the dual-screen presentation; they should not be taken as proof that every part of the original DS touch-screen experience is reproduced.
What modern features and play modes are included?
Konami lists rewind, quick save and load, and a gallery with artwork and development materials. The collection also includes an encyclopedia covering items, enemies, glyphs, and Tactical Souls, plus a music player with playlists. Players can switch between regional versions; save data is separate for each version.
